I'm trying to install the Sonnet Firmware Upgrade I need before I can install the new processor (for a MDD G4), and I can install it from the CD with no problem, but it's when I have to reboot and launch the upgrade app I get a Fatal Error, cannot connect to ROM. I have made sure countless time that I have booted up in programmer's mode but I still get that error! Anyone know what is going on? Thanks.

Same here

Hi. I'm having the same issue. Did you get this resolved? I think I need to update my firmware to 4.28 but I no longer have Mac Classic environment. Any input you have as to how I might resolve the Sonnet firmware or Mac firmware 4.28 update or both is certainly greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time. Addison
