I can't install this on an M3 Ultra Studio

I have the install, I have run the installer.... both the OS installer and the Terminal command. it goes all the way through, restarts back to my normal Lock Screen. I have been at this since noon.

I did update to the latest version of OS BEFORE running the Tahoe... but I assumed THAT was to remove any drama on the install.

I'm exactly with the same conditions, I'm about to give up for today. My MBP had no issues updating but I did not install 15.7, went straight from 15.6.1 to 26. Perhaps that's the issue? Who knows, I'll call it a day for today and try later.

I'm already missing Launchpad and compact tabs in Safari when using my laptop, so perhaps this is a blessing in disguise.

M4 Max Studio here, and the upgrade went through without any issues whatsoever.
Maybe its a bug specifically to do with the M3 Ultra chip?

Agreed. If none of the betas installed either, though, you'd think Apple would have noticed by now...

I have the Mac Studio M3 Ultra. The OS26 installation looked normal all the way through to the end - and then I got 15.7 again. No error warning came up, just nothing except back to 15.7. Looks like Apple needs to release OS26.1!

Sounds like an issue unique to the M3 Ultra. My M4 Max upgraded without an issue.
