I can't pull up the finder

Well its always been I could click on the desktop page and pull up the finder by hitting command F. But for some reason today this isn't happening. Has this happened to anybody before? If so, how do you fix it? Thanks,

Is this a constant problem?

Have you rebooted or relaunched the Finder?

Ok I relaunched it again and it is working now... Haha. Thanks.

When I'm in Flock or Firefox, it brings up a search field at the bottom of the browser. When I'm not in a browser, it brings up Finder.
