i can't quit safari?!?!

as stated in the title, i can't quit safari! I can't command Q it and i can't right click to quit safari, i have to force quit it!
whats wrong? why is it like this?

Pass. Have you tried a reboot? Could be "just one of those things".

What extensions do you have installed?

Have you installed any toolbars recently? (CTtoolbar/Community Toolbar comes to mind as problematical.)

I would:
(a) export your favourites
(b) delete Safari
(c) download and reinstall Safari
(d) import favourites...

no toolbars, no extentions, no nothing! havent installed anything!

i got it.... it was just a bug or something, i rebooted and it went away sry for the commotion

Maybe thats is, have you tried installing safari?

This happened to me for the first time ever today too. Very odd.

Quit Safari was greyed out and CMD-Q didn't work. I had to Force Quit and on restart all was well.
