iPod touch I can't register my ipod or accept the user agreement

So I plug my new touch in and a screen pops up asking me if I want to register, but the only option I can see is "Do It Later"... Then I goto the user agreement page and all I can see is the options to Save or Cancel. I can't see the other options because I cant scroll to the right. How do I scroll to the right on these menus? Oh yeah I'm using a Windows computer
