I Cant remember admin password!!

I'm trying to change some settings on my macbook pro.. in system preferences.
Its asking me for the admin name and passcode...
I've typed in every passcode that i've ever used it seems... and it still rejects it!
It says the hint is "same as last computer" ... but I've typed the password in and still nothing!
Is there a way to get around this?
Could someone at the apple store get around it for me???
I appreciate any suggestions... thank you!

You need to boot your mac in recovery mode and type "reset password" on terminal.
