I can't restore from Time Machine backup on Mavericks.

The back up was made on lion. It appears dark red in color and non accessible.


P.s: The problem seems to be related to the change of HD name I did during format.

Hi Memko

try this:

Format your HDD, use disk utility to erase disk: format as Mac OS journaled extended.Do a clean install of Mavericks.

Create another new user, restore from a time machine backup and delete the other user.

Let me know if it worked
