I can't see the .jpg pictures on the CD

I have iMac 10.4.11

I got pictures burn on a CD but I can't see them, the CD looks blank.

I double checked were I got them burned and they are on the CD. The guy told me they burn the pictures in .jpg and all I have to do is set my program to read .jpgs

I don't get it cause I'm able to view .jpg pictures, just not the ones on the CD!

Can anyone help me with this?

Find someone else with a computer and see if they can read them. It may be as simple as the CD was not written correctly.
