i can't send text on unlocked iphone 4 :(?

So i have an iphone 4 with baseband 1.59
its being unlocked for more than i year but i used another carrier which name was unefon with that one i could send texts but for some reason i change carriers because the other had horrble reception now that i change to telcel i cant send texts :C and itunes keeps saying it wants to update my carrier setting please help :C
o yeah i have 4.1 custom via pwngtool 16 gb :c

You can update the carrier settings if it lets you just do that, just dont update the firmware.

yes i updated but everytime i plug in my phone again i tell me the same thing i have allready updated the carrier setting atleast 10 times

You might have to set the text messanging manually.
I remember I had to do it back when I couldnt send texts on an unlocked iphone 3G.
You gotta get your carrier to help you out.
its the sms message center number u need to put in the iphone so u could send sms to everyone

what u need to do is this on phone part and dial out


*5005*7672*XXXXXXXX# Call were xxxxxxxx is message center number provided by carrier to get this number u need to call customer service of ur carrier
