i cant ssh to apple tv g2

Given the plethora of information supplied, there is a slight risk that you'll be less than completely satisfied with the suggestions you receive...
Make sure the devices are on the same network, that you are trying to connect to the correct address and that the AppleTV 2 is jailbroken and is actually supposed to be listening for SSH connections.
It could be a million things.
