I have had no intention of buying an AVP, but thought I should give it a demo just to see what it was like. I've been very skeptical that it or any other VR or AR product could ever become mainstream.
So I went to book an appointment, which were pretty much wide open, and got to the part where it asks about my vision. I wear glasses, and can't wear contacts because for some reason, every time I've tried them, I get nauseous, turn white, and almost pass-out. Well, the website asks if my prescription has a prism, which it does, and then when I click yes, it says sorry, I'm out of luck. The lenses they use can't accommodate that.
Has anybody else run into this problem and gotten a response for if they will ever be able to? I don't know how common having a prism on a prescription is.
