Well generally speaking I am not, but Apple seems to be somewhat serious about not allowing the transfer of rented content onto the Touch, iPod Videos, or iPhones.

That is ****ing REAL LAME. I just rented a movie on my Itunes to watch it spedifically on my touch and I cant.

What movie is it? I know that some movies in the iTunes store are converted at a resolution higher than what iPods can handle (not sure why) and this would prevent you from transfering it over onto your iPod.

how? I just bought this new touch it has the latest firmware.

after you rent the movie and plug in your ipod, go to your ipod under devices, then go to the movies tab right up under where it shows the song information, you'll see of rented movies that you have, click move.
