I changed to 2-factor authentication and now I can't access email on my win7 computer

on my mac I setup 2-factor authentication to get my watch to unlock my mac mini with my watch. now at work forte agent can't access my me.com email account. I just updated icloud for windows and verified this computer with my phone. rebooted and all but agent still can't get email. is this a agent problem or something else?

I think what you need to do is generate an app specific password for Forte.

that makes sense. right now I turned it off. but my watch won't unlock my computer even following all the instructions so it is not super important.
