i Chat to MSN question?

Just bought my MBP 15" and was setting up i Chat for the first time. Some how I puched the help button durring set up and seen a section that says that i Chat can communicate with AOL and ICQ and MSN. I was surpurised and egger to get this set up. When I opened i Chat and typed in the word MSN under the help menu it said, "iChat does not work with Yahoo, MSN, or other chat systems." So whats the deal. One says I can talk to people using MSN and the other says I cant. Is there anyway to cummunicate to people using MSN on my i Chat?

You can do it, I do. But you have to set up jabber. Do a google search for jabber servers and tutorials and you'll find what you need. I did it a few weeks ago
