i paid $73 every month

howcome i pay $73

im in california 8.25% tax

im serious howmuch do u pay everymonth

I am in the UK so it is all very different, we know how much the government will steel from us on everything we buy.

The only thing I can suggest is maybe you have gone over your monthly allowance for texts and minutes.

With tax you are looking at about $64 normally, so you are an extra $10 on-top. Check your statement carefully, the number of times I have had this and then gone through the bill in detail and found out what has caused it.

$13 in taxes sounds about right for att. Cell phone plan tax and sales tax are two different animals. Been this way for as long as I can remember.

I have the $59 dollar package + $10 for 1500 texts. My bill would come home at $82.70.

You would be surprised how much tax there is on both your home and cell phone bills when you actually look at them.

This is exactly my case and I'm in the 7.75% state tax area which really has nothing to do with it but it's fun to mention all the same.

With T Mobile via proxy hack on my iPhone

$39.99 My faves plan
$5.99 T Zones which gives me unlimited data and internet
$4.99 400 text messages

$60.15 Monthly total tax included.

The taxes and fees can vary quite a bit depending on the area you live. Mine are around $15/month.

Sales tax is not the tax they charge on your phone bill. There are numerous state, federal, "processing", etc. taxes that they tack on to the bill.

Sometimes there is also some sort of "one-time" fee, check to see that they haven't charged you that.

You should review the bill carefully, or check your account online. It will break down where all the money goes.

i dont believe it. show me something for that. I am with the OP. it ends up being about 15 in tax per month in CA. the thing that really bugs me though; why can the bill just be the same every month. if I dont go over minutes or texts, it shouldn't change.
A
