I want to enable find my mack ~ but I don't want to sign into icloud because it starts making my files disappear

is it possible to make a new user account and sign into icloud on that account without it sharing files from my other accounts ?

If you create a new user account and enable "Find My," it will use your main user account for security and tracking purposes.

If you don't want any sharing of files, don't sign into the main account while using the secondary account.

I will never log into the secondary account at all ~ it will only be for find my mac

how does find my mac work ? ~ can they find it even if it's turned off ?
