So I tried to install Windows 7 using the Bootcamp help utility. After restarting the computer, it asked which partition I would like to install it to. I picked PARTITION4: BOOT CAMP. It said it wasn't the proper format, so I thought there wouldn't be any harm in formatting that partition. After re-formatting it, it said I could go ahead. The install failed, and now when I start up my MacBook Pro, I get the blank white screen and then a blank command prompt style screen. The only button I've been able to get it to recognize was eject. Have I royally screwed myself within a day of owning my first mac?

RESOLVED: I reset the NVRAM/PRAM using the step listed in here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570. Everything seems to be running fine now.
