i-device y-cable

I'm looking for a y-cable that has 1 female 30pin connector and 2 30pin male ends. I'm looking for it to function to where if 2 i-devices are plugged in, one syncs while the other just charges. I haven't seen one anywhere and was wondering if one exists?

I'd like the other configuration, 2 female/1 male. The idea would be to plug the male end into an iPad 2, one female end into an accessory that doesn't include power pass-thru (the Apple VGA adapter, etc.), and the other female end into a dock cable running to a power adapter.

Any idea if this is available?
