I'M TOO OLD AND TOO TIRED TO READY ALL OF THE HOW TOOS BESIDES I've been a member of this group for a number of years but had to register as a new user,
OK I got my MBP on the 13rd of August, and made my first tech call within minutes of arriving home and it's been almost non stop since. It seems like as soon as I get a day or two to work on it someone does something that gets my account locked. I've worked with the advisors for days and days and as soon as the get it working boom there it goes again. Currently it is locked out because of that "game" of name the password. I have tried and tried to get through to someone that I have a disability that keeps me from being able to remember passwords and I do write them down. My first mac is 10 years old and never a lick of trouble. Now in it's old age it needs a little backup to be able to carry the load so I got the MBP. The best thing I ever did was set the imac so it never had a password so it never needed one, I can't keep the one I have now going long enough to search for that wonderful no password switch. The last advisor I spoke to walked me through setting this one up the same way, but it won't stick for some reason. I need a lot of help with this machine or I need to get it a new home. Can someone please help without charging me anything to do it? I think that i where the problem began someone offered a password for Facebook and verbally accepted but never went through with it and after much harassment asked me how long I could go without Facebook and so far it's been it's been 4 months and I don't miss it at all. But the computer say naw it's all my imagination, or I have alzheimers or something else like that.. Anyway sorry about the book but I've been trying to get back in here for a long time. I really need some legitimate help.
