I really don't care about backing up my computer onto an external harddrive. I don't have that much dynamic data that needs backing up, so I burn everything to DVD and keep those stored somewhere else.

I'm looking for a NAS and an N router. Is Time Capsule worth it?

depends how much info you want to store. the price for time capsule is competitive compared to buying a aebs with an external hard drive combo purchase, plus it is a high quality drive..

If you are consistently transferring files to the hard drive TC won't be the fastest solution especially compared to Firewire drives however if compatibility and convenience is soley what you are after then TC is the perfect solution.

The only speed issue I would have is that I can watch video from files on the TC on my laptop without lag. Other than that, I'm not goign to be transferring a lot of data consistently, so I'm going to go with the TC I guess.

Thanks
