In Lion, Apple dropped front row! Why would they do this? My Thoughts:
The shouldn't have dropped it.
It was pretty awesome.
Apple, WHY WHY MUST YOU FOURCE US TO BUY APPLE TV'S WHY-H-HY:mad:

I never really used it, that said I have an iMac. If I had a Macbook I could maybe see myself using it more.
 
I have a Mac Mini as an HTPC and I've never used Front Row. I won't miss it.

Hey man, I have the best workaround for you... Don't Buy Lion!
 
Really, I've never understood why people cry so much about front row being gone in Lion. Can't you do the same stuff through iTunes? If you don't like iTunes, cant you use Boxee (free) or Plex (free)???? PLus, you can use Netflix and Hulu this way!

I'm using it because PLEX can't play any of my iTunes films or TV shows that I download. It's ok for iPlayer and 4oD but other than that it's more or less useless to me and I find it harder to sue. Thats like the next best thing I hear people talk about and I don't find it that great so I will be gutted with front row gone and hope they bring it back at least as a app on the app store.
 
Front Row was nothing but nice "bling" it show non Mac users how fantastic Mac can look like...
Never used it...

I didn't realize that apple had hired guns showing up at your house forcing you to buy an entirely different product. Man if I hadn't seen it for myself I would have just thought the internet had someone posting yet another half thought out drama filled rant.

Thanks for clearing this up for me. :rolleyes:
