I don't have a iphone, should i upgrade to yosemite?

Exactly as the title says. I don't have an iphone but I just bought a mid 2014 rMBP. Do you guys think it's still worth updating to os x Yosemite or should I just stick with mavericks? I've watched a few youtube videos on yosemite features and most of them seem more useful only if you have a macbook pro. I don't dig the new dock look as it reminds me of being on an iphone...lame. Anyways, is it worth updating for other better features and stability?
