Hey everyone!
I'm having a series of problems that render my macbook pro pretty useless right now.
The other day my macbook pro crashed, and it turned out the hard drive is corrupted. Luckily I had backed up all the important stuff I need on an external hard drive. However, I didn't transfer all the apps over to that hard drive, including the app store.
Now whenever I try to open an application I get this error: "You have Mac*OS*X 10.6.8. The application requires Mac*OS*X 10.7 or later."
Obviously I can't update to the latest OS without the app store, so there's no way for me to go about doing it.
To top it all off, my dvd drive corrupted alongside the internal hard drive, so I can't use it to update through an OS dvd.
Is there any way I can get my mac upgraded so I can open up all the applications? Or is there any way I could get the app store online? So far I've looked and no dice. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out.
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance
