Fellows,

I purchased 13" MBP last thursday,
so far I'm not 100% satisfied with it due to the fact that I have been eyeing on 15" old MBP.

i have been considering taking this one back and get old 15" MBP.

I use the computer mainly for Excel spreadsheets/word...few photoshops and so on.

The one thing that makes me to hesitate is the fact that the old MBP's ram slot is only expandable up to 4G.

so Im not totally sure paying extra $140 for the old 15"MBP is a rational decision.

4GB is more RAM than you'll ever use. Only switch if you want the extra screen space.

You probably won't need more than 4GB for the time being... and it's still too expensive to purchase reasonable at any rate (I think something like $160 for a 4GB stick).

Also, have you considered the restocking fee? 15% once you've opened the box.

I agree it is a screen size issue.

Either computer would be fine for your needs. Unless you want the bigger screen, I'd save the money.

4 Gb is a LOT for what you're doing. You'll be fine.
