i dont like that glassy back on my itouch, mines sorta scratched up and looks like crap

any ideas on something i can put over it? do they sell things for this?

i was just thinking of blackness to cover it up, like a big sticker. Or is there something that would like better on it? because then i thought the sticker might look like crap after awhile.

and would this in any way mess up the functionality of the itouch?

thanks for the input

there are ipod touch cases you can get.

I have a rubber incase holder for my ipod touch.
looks nice and doesnt add any extra to the ipod itself.

Have you considered getting a skin for your iPod? They are similar to the protectors you can buy that are clear, but these have an image and look more like a decal or sticker. I've not had one myself, but I've read a lot of good things about them and people seem to be happy.

Just be careful and do your research before buying from any old company to make sure the skin doesn't leave residue or anything behind if you remove it. One site I've read a lot of good on is: http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/2,252.htm I know there are many more out there, but this is one I know I've read a lot about, so may be worth checking out.

They are pretty cheap, look good once applied and will protect your iPod while covering up the imperfections, without making it look bad... I was considering getting one myself, but there were way too many options to choose just one. I decided to get a clear one for the time being.

Good luck!

Just get a case?
And I wouldn't call it glossy I'd it scratched up and a 1G.
If it is a 2G then I'm disappointed you already scratched it up this much.
