does the scheduled delivery say the 14th? then take a deep breath and relax.

Since your on the west coast there is a 3 hour time zone difference which will change the time it arrives. It should get there in time.

...

I think your iPhone and my Macbook Pro were on the same flite..

Louisville, KY, United States 10/14/2011 0:12 Arrival Scan
Anchorage, AK, United States 10/13/2011 14:12 Departure Scan

But like you, I think there's a snowball's chance in Hell it will arrive today. I think next step for Canadian shipments is going to Hamilton and then off to a local sorting plant and then out for delivery.

Shouldn't there also be an export (customs) scan in there as well ? I might be wrong about that.

UPS was showing a delivery date of the 18nth for me. They aren't showing any delivery dates now but I think the 18nth sounds most probable. It hits Canada for Monday, Monday night into local sorting and then out for Tuesday.

If you look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worldport_(UPS_air_hub)

You'll see that it's largely staffed by students working during the nights. Given that, I also suspect they don't work weekends and weekends probably start as of Thursday morning. They don't get started again until Sunday night. Which again leads me to believe that for me, the 18nth is very realistic.

This might all seem a little obsessive, but learning how UPS works and how they handle 416,000 per hour is pretty cool.

Good Luck to you ! ;-)
