I dont understand Apple.com's ship date info

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I don't know if they mean they'll send it out on the 9th, and I'll have it 15th. Or, if they're gonna send it in within the next few days and I'll have it by the 9th.

Can someone explain this?

I'm guessing for you it says between the 9th and 15th for delivery? Basically it ships on the 9th and you'll get it by the 15th.

Your order page should have a "Delivers by DD/MM". That's your delivery date. If it says Ships by/on, you will have it within a couple days. Apple ships iPhones either overnight or 2 day.

It's exactly what I said - It get's shipped on the first day and you'll get it within 7 days. Don't forget about the processing, handling, it's being shipped from china so it has to pass customs, etc etc ...

it says AVAILABLE to ship in 2-3 weeks

And you should get it in the Oct 9-15 time frame.

Since it is NOT ready to ship yet, any dates are just fuzzy guesses. Until they ship it, all bets are off.
