For iTunes on Mac.

Why is it so complicated to add a song to a playlist from Apple Music?!

I find the song by searching, I then have to click on that song so it brings up the whole album, I then have to select that song again and press the three dots, then press 'add to' then finally select the playlist I want them in....

Is there a quicker way? Am I just being stupid?!

This is a bug I think. Sometimes it works. Try clicking the "..." next to the song in the "Songs" section. Clicking the "..." next to the song in the "Top Results" section seems to do random things.

I have found that if you click the "..." and do "Add to My Music" and then wait a couple seconds you can go back to the "..." to then add it to the playlist of your choice. Not exactly all that much faster, but that's the best I've found so far.

Ah, there seems to be quite a few bugs lol...

It's weird, it doesn't work either unless I add it to my library first. It just seems like a lot of steps!

It would be nice if you could just drag the songs to a playlist...

Ah yeah I've just worked that out! I guess it's a bit quicker than having to go to the album. Thanks!

Needs streamlining, but I agree this is how it works currently. Annoying.

I also don't understand why you have to click the three dots and why you can't just right click on a song lol. Maybe too much iOS influence?

There needs to be a default loved tracks playlist. I have no idea which songs i loved or not anymore. I have to go out and look for them.

All of OS X is being influenced by iOS unfortunately. It's almost like Apple forgets we have mouses that can right click.

Smart playlist is the way to do this. Easy to do, but I think it should be automatic, tbh.

It's almost like Apple forgot about drag-and-drop. Everything's clicking all over the place.

I should be able to double tap artwork in an instagram like fashion and have it added to a auto playlist of likes. All these 3 dots mumbo jumbo is for the birds.

It's funny you mention that, because they essentially have just that when you're looking at the artists and deciding which ones you like. Tap once to like, tap twice to love. They should have 'tap once to add to my music, tap twice to love or put offline', etc.
