Hi

I don't want any user data on macOS (everything should be on TrueNAS device). Is “stateless” macOS possible?

I use the following apps:

Bash:
# Bitcoin thin client
cask "electrum"
# Monero desktop wallet
cask "feather"
# Terminal emulator that uses platform-native UI and GPU acceleration
cask "ghostty"
# Note taking and to-do application with synchronisation capabilities
cask "joplin"
# Password manager app
cask "keepassxc"
# Wallet desktop application to maintain multiple cryptocurrencies
cask "ledger-live"
# Clipboard manager
cask "maccy"
# Untraceable cryptocurrency wallet
cask "monero-wallet"
# Web browser focused on privacy and on minimizing tracking and fingerprinting
cask "mullvad-browser"
# Free and open-source RSS reader
cask "netnewswire"
# Web browser
cask "opera@beta"
# G-code generator for 3D printers
cask "orcaslicer"
# Utility to uninstall apps and remove leftover files from old/uninstalled apps
cask "pearcleaner"
# Client for Proton Mail and Proton Calendar
cask "proton-mail"
# Archive manager for data compression and backups
cask "rar"
# Instant messaging application focusing on security
cask "signal"
# Bitcoin wallet application
cask "sparrow"
# Media player based on MPlayer and mplayer2
cask "stolendata-mpv"
# Customizable email client
cask "thunderbird"
# Open-source BitTorrent client
cask "transmission"
# Companion app for the Trezor hardware wallet
cask "trezor-suite"
mas "Infuse", id: 1136220934

I want to have all user data (not configs) on the TrueNAS device. Is that even possible? Can someone tell me what I have to pay attention to?

I have no "Active Directory" from Microsoft at home. But thanks anyway.
