Hi guys,

Is there a way to have my MB still running when I close my cover?
I need ti to run sometimes in the background and download stuff. I also enjoy it announcing me the time on the hour.

Any ideas on how to do it with my cover closed?

tnx

If it works the same as on a PowerBook you will need an external keyboard. Close the lid to put the MacBook to sleep, then hit the space bar on the keyboard to wake it again.

Short answer: No

Long answer: Either get an external monitor, KB and mouse, and use it in lid closed mode, or get the software called sleepless.

Angry answer: Search the forums, this has been posted 43 times, and why would you do this? Just set your MB to turn off the display after a while if it's power you're worried about.;)
