I know it's referring to the old style macbook pro vs the retina model, but was does the "c" stand for.

Im sorry this is probably one of my lowest macrumors moments but I can't figure it out. I tried searching .

Thanks bro, I almost asked the same question. I figured it was referring to the older version but wasn't exactly sure what the C stood for.
 
ahh that makes since...i personally thing it should have just stayed mbp, and then we say rmbp when referring to retina.

I thought that too.

but then I decided it should be pmbp for previous mbp
or ombp for old mbp
or lmbp for last mbp.
