I run to the window every time I hear what sounds to be a big truck or van. Surely I'm not the only one...?

I hate it, I live a few miles from a highway and not even very close to a main road. However is seems on Launch Days I can hear a truck accelerating from Alaska.

IT's an annoying and pathetic feeling...

But that doesn't mean one stops doing it until they have their iPhone in hand.

And UPS is ****. I freaking hate UPS. Their service is ass and they are slower than hell.

Fedex is so much better at getting packages to people before the sun goes down.

i know that feeling from last year. my ups guy doesnt deliver to my house till 8pm but he delivers to my work around 11am. he preordered the 5 too so we always talk about apple stuff. so i asked him on tuesday to deliver both my iphone 5s to my work even tho they were shipped to my house. he brought them by my work at 930am this morning. last year sucked waiting till 830pm tho.

^ Hey now, I give props. The number of phones they can deliver on launch is quite impressive. Calling them slow and **** is a bit extreme considering.

I am sitting at the window since morning, haven't moved yet. USPS came by, no sign of UPS though.

I actually prefer FedEx, for me locally, I live rather close to both UPS and FedEx's facilities. FedEx starts their route with me being one of the first, while UPS does the opposite and hits me up before going back to the hub for the evening.

I suppose a few UPS drivers will be getting a big slobbery kiss today.

Regards,
Tom

The Fed Ex truck just drove up. And I refused to go to the window immediately after being fooled a few times today. I live on a corner lot in my subdivision so all day I'd hear a truck stop at the stop sign...think maybe...then hear it accelerate away.

I'm just sitting on my front porch with my Macbook since my doorbell doesn't work.

I've been out here for 2 hours already.

Luckily for me my doggie doorbell works every time. He can even look out the window to see who it is.......Now I just got to get him to learn what the FedEx trucks look like. ;)

Sounds like me when the 4s came out. My front door has a large etched glass pane so you can see movement outside. Every time someone drove by It would catch the corner of my eye so I'd go to the window.
