I'm guessing price.
I looked into getting a lot of different webcams before finally settling on the isight. The questionable integration and performance of the other cams just wasnt worth it.
But to the OP, sorry, I dont have any specific knowledge on that cam.

Few Logitechs are Mac compatible, usually the pro line, make shure it works!
