I finally gave in!

I just made my proud purchase, after much contemplation. Is there anything i should be doing besides enjoying the hell out of my new mac book pro?

I have also purchased and HDMI to DVI cable and hooked it up to my hd television in order to do my projects. Is there a way to fix the resolution on the tv?

Also, any applications that i could benefit from?
