I forgot about the notch

I was on the minimalist black background life before the new MacBook Pro's were announced. Have had the 14 inch for 3 days now and have not noticed the notch at all. If anyone just wants to forget about it, set your background to black!

Hey…what happens when you watch a "full screen" video?

I literally have had the 14" and 16" since Tuesday and I forgot all about the notch. I literally never notice it at all. That's not a fan boy thing I'm saying either. I legit forgot all about it until I read a thread and I'm like, "oh yeah, there's a notch."

Hey…what happens when you watch a "full screen" video?

Most videos are in the 16x9 aspect ratio, so artificial black bars are the norm anyway.

Yes really so far the apps not even full screen do t display the notch. And my background is dark so… what notch. It’s really not a big deal.

Yeah, just use dark mode, and a relatively dark background.

I stopped noticing the notch after less than a day.

I think people who complain about the notch have either an ultra-bright wallpapers, or are constantly looking at it obsessing over tiny details. Story short, just do something reasonable and stop looking for it, and it goes away naturally.
