hey MacRumor-ers :)

I'm visiting New York for a holiday - i'm from the UK.

However, outside the Central park there are some benches and I found a master-card, but I was intrigued since it said Mr Steve Jobs on it...

So I went into a cafe since it was too bright and took a piccy with my trusty iPhone - the card is now safely in the Police's hands before you ask...

Here's a picture (I blurred out the number when I got back to the hotel using photo shop - so no fraudsters can use it; it's probably invalid now anywho :D )

I thought this was interesting so I shared it with you people - do you think it was the real Stevie or just some other guy? :)

Best,
ROSIE.

I doubt the REAL steve Jobs would loose such a thing, and He would probably use an American Express card, with no limit, rather than a visa/mastercard.

Even though its prolly not the same person, its still very ironic out of any name to be on that card, its Steve Jobs. Good job on actually returning the card also.

Jobs definitely has an Amex Black card, no pink ones for him, but that is very ironic.

Since AMEX isn't accepted everywhere, I'm sure Steve has a Visa/MC as well.

But yeah, it's probably a different Mr. Steve Jobs (I used to know a Steven Jobs back in school). Still cool though!

We had a Stephen Jobs at my old school *shrugs* Steven/Stephen is quite a common name after all...

they put Mr. on credit cards? since when? all mine just have my name.
Yeah, they do/can. Some of mine have my title, others don't.

What card is that? Maestro? Mastercard's logo isn't blue is it?

It could be another Mr Steve Jobs, it could be a pre-paid credit card that requires no ID to get and somebody's decided to call themselves that for a laugh??

That card is pink - The Jobs only wears blue (jeans) and black (turtlenecks). I vote it is not authentically Steve's credit card.

Random story that sounds like a bit of a lie. Not to mention, as POD said...no cards typically have "MR" on them or MRS if that is your thing.

All of my credit and debit cards have MR before my name.

I do agree that it's not a very entertaining story though, and it's definitely not ironic!

Given how infuriatingly annoying and cheesy amex's advertising is and how sickening their general message is i'd doubt that jobs would carry one, he doesn't seem like the Gucci type, he's not exactly known for his big spending and he is known for his general anal retentive nature.

Steve most likely has the Amex blak card, very few have it...its yearly fee is $2500!!! And you can do anythign your heart desires with it....even email your concierge to get reservations, tickets, etc.

Jobs has 2:p:D
