So basically, today the power went out and my MacBook pros power cable light went out (obviously because the power was out.) when the power came back on, the light to indicate charging did not. The computer is fine, just the Power cable is not. It was plugged into a surge protector at the time. I tried plugging it into other plugs but it still wouldn't charge. I have 7 months of AppleCare left and over a year and seven months of futureshop warranty. I will try calling them tomorrow but does anyone know if they will give me a new power cord without many problems or will I have to buy the power cord?

Thanks, I shall call apple and futureshop and see if either will replace it. Do they also want me I send in my broken power cord?
