HomePod I gave in and bought another Homepod!

I have had the original Homepod in my office/ Computer room for about a year and loved it. Been thinking of getting another one to go stereo for a while and watching prices hoping they would come down a bit.

But obviously they are still the same price here, but bit the bullet today and went and got another white one to go with my other one.

Got to say WOW what a difference they sound great love the stereo separation and extra volume so no regrets here plus they look good!

I've had 3 HomePods for a while now. Two as a stereo pair and TV audio on the living room, one in my bedroom. I just got a mini for my office and it is a very nice complement to the whole home audio I've got now.

Last year or two, it seemed like there was a sale on the original HomePod every other month. I fear the Mini ruined that. People likely dabbled in the low priced but capable Mini and left those people longing for more. I’m sure the Mini drove sales of the original HomePod up resulting in less discounted sales. Apple knew exactly what they were doing with the Mini. Glad I jumped on a bunch of them last year at 199 each but I still need a couple more.

But, I hope I’m wrong...

Don’t count on it. They just got discontinued and getting very difficult to find, especially in Space Gray. I got the last one at my nearest Apple Store today and had to travel 40 miles to a Best Buy for a second one. Jump on it now if you really want another. I bought seven of mine on the 199 price but had to bite the bullet today for the last two at full price. All surrounding stores and Apple stores within 50 miles were sold out. Online too.

I gave In after two years and bought another big one along with two minis. Pairing the two big Homepods makes a huge difference. I highly suggest it for anyone wanting better sounds. It’s well worth it and it won’t be long until you can’t find the original HomePod anywhere

I was fortunate to have found a space grey to match the one I have. It works amazingly well as a stereo pair especially when hooked up to my atv.

I just bought one too, in white. Won't match my space grey but who cares!

I picked up an white one for cheap because the space gray is going nuts with the price. Saw someone buy one for $800 on eBay. I have a white and space gray—- Salt and Pepper! LOL
