I gave my old MBP away and forgot to turn of Find my Mac

You can login to your account at icloud.com and turn find my Mac off if I'm not mistaken

It doesn't really matter, once he performs a clean install, it will wipe it off as far as i remember.
I know its not like the iPhone/iPad version of Find my iPhone.
