I get a black screen when i boot up, after the apple computer sound, and the black screen says:

"Disk Error

Press any key to restart"

I have no idea what to do, and i also just recently partitioned my hard drive for bootcamp, but never got to installing it. I partitioned it 2 days ago and it was working just fine this morning, then i reset it, and now it wont work.

Also, when i click a key to continue, nothing happens anyways.

I wonder if it's trying to boot into your windows partition - that sounds like an error you get when windows installs are having problems. I haven't seen it on a Mac, but then my Macs haven't had many problems so I haven't seen everything.

Try rebooting while holding down the Option key and see if you can select the OS X partition.

If that doesn't work, try booting from the OS X install disk and check your hard drive.

Yes, that sounds like your boot camp partition was deleted when you tried to install windows. You cannot delete the partition that is made from boot camp. You have to just format it.
