iPhone 14/Plus I get two minutes to 1% of battery using LIVE youtube on Iphone 14

Man, I had hoped for more.

all OTHER APPS closed.

Screen on and streaming YouTube...

At home under very strong wifi etc.

So frustrating.

3 and 1/2 hours then using Youtube on a new iphone will deplete the battery. I KNOW This is not right, but I dont know if I have the energy to do what about it.

Yes, did a soft reset. Same thing. Yes, 16.2 IOS

The app usage in battery section shows nothing unusual, I am not tracking anything, etc.

I was streaming something LIVE, so I will do something else and see if it changes.

p.s. you know how the % will stay on whatever number you just charged it to for a long time before it goes down one point., does that happen after a soft reset as in whatever % number it is on after the soft, that it will stay on that as if you just charged it for much longer than usual? It must as I just did that and the % was 47 after the soft reset and I am streaming YT live and it has been on 47 for 5 minutes or so and I am SURE I wont get that after it goes down one or two points.


LIVE is why I think...doing a normal video NOT live it was more like 4 minutes

Good question. If that slide bar where you adjust the screen brightness is 2 inches wide, it is less than a third of an inch, closer to a 1/4, very little. I wlll do something not live in a bit, hoping that is why.

That would be really terrible ha ha, I am curious if others have the same experience with live streaming of a YouTube channel.

Yeah that would be crazy, I am curious if others have the same experience of getting much shorter lifespan doing live streaming on YouTube.

I have had the phone for 23 days and it has gone down to 99% maximum capacity, already.
