My old iTouch got wet and could not be saved. I can not get anything off of my old iTouch which doesn't matter as I had everything saved on to my iTunes account. I just bought a new iTouch and I need to hook it up and sync it with my iTunes account. I thought I could just plug in my new 4G iTouch and it would add it as a devise, but no luck.

What do I need to do?

thanks,
MJO

You didn't actually explain the problem...

When you plugged in your new iPod, it should ask if you want to set up as a new device or restore from a backup, if you were to restore from a backup of your old iPod everything would get synced back. To get back to that option, restore the device.
