I got a problem

My macbook pro isnt reading my double clicks. Usually when i go to create a new tab on safari or to highlight something i double click on the track pad. But randomly this morning it decided to not respond to my double clicks. So could it be that someone changed my settings or what? So can someone please give me a idea as to what can be wrong

Does it read when you double tap?

-> System Preferences -> Trackpad

Adjust Double-Click speed to taste...

ty. i had the double click speed at the fastest then i changed it to a little slower and then back to the fastest speed, and now it works fine again. Thank you guys
