I got: extHD (osx formatted), win7.iso, should I use refit?

I'm trying to get windows working on a mba.

I don't have a usb key.

I got an external HDD formatted for OSX, that I use to keep music and files on. There's a 50gb unformatted partition on it. I want to use that unused partition be the bootable drive of win7.



Can that be done?

Doubtful. On Macs you essentially have two choices without using a SuperDrive.

1) Install from the ISO via Parallels or Fusion.
2) Create a throwaway partition on the internal drive for this purpose.

I think on the new MBA 1) has a better chance of being useful.
