I know it has been AGES since I posted ITT but I finally found a way to get iCloud sync working for Tweetbot. I have been looking pretty much since this thread started! Since I saw a bunch of other people have issues, I created a quick blog page over at Blogger...

Should get you working...
1) If you 'trial' (ahem) any apps then you probably have AppSync installed...you're going to have remove this to get things working (don't worry, I have reinstalled and it works again). Once you have done this, reboot.
2) Next, use iFile or another file explorer to navigate to var/mobile/Library/caches and delete the following two files: com.apple.mobile.installation.plist com.apple.LaunchServices-045.csstore, then reboot again.
3) Alarmingly, when you iPhone comes back to life, all your apps will have disappeared (!) but don't despair as they all come back. I have about 180 apps installed and it took around three minutes for them all to come back (and they were back in the right place).
