iPod I got it!!! (new Nano)

Well here it is, my new nano! IT'S CUTE!!!!
One small disappointment is that I can't put my .MOV's on it and I can't change them to mp4, oh well.

Have you tried Visual Hub? I haven't run across anything it hasn't been able to convert to a usable format. He just updated it to support the new resolutions of the new nanos, etc.

Video on a screen the size of a shuffle has gotta be a piss-take. I can't think of a single type of moving media it would be suited for. Not music videos, movies, TV programmes, games or podcasts. Absolutely useless. They may as well have not bothered. I know a bunch of people'll say, "so don't buy one then". I won't.

its nice to have the option of using the video, even though the screen is smaller than I would like, and the interface is definitely A LOT nicer. I was in the store today playing with one for the first time. And all I have to say is...WOW, holy small! I like it.

I was surprised at the quality of video on the Nano. Before I saw one, I figured that the screen would be too small. But after testing one, I found the display to be fairly decent for watching video when holding it 15-20 inches from my eyes.

A look at the specs gives an idea why it looks so good.

Nano:
- Screen --> 2.0 inch
- Resolution --> 320x240
- Pixels per inch --> 204

Classic:
- Screen --> 2.5 inch
- Resolution --> 320x240
- Pixels per inch --> 163

So both have the same number of pixels. However, the Nano has a higher density.

when you turn the nano on, it's like the screen is way bigger, AND IT'S CLEAR!!!
and pictures are good too. What games did you're guys come with? Mine has iQuiz, klondike and vortex.

I just got mine today too. I thought that I wanted black until I saw the blue. Anyway, has anybody seen any cases for the new 3G nanos yet? I want something really small, and may just have to go with the Invisible Shield.

I know they are now metal, unlike my 1st gen, but are they really that though? I have heard that the back scratches really easily.

They probably do, but it doesn't effect the Nano, just people .
Anyway if you are going to put it in your pocket with keys, then get a case.
