Set my iPad downloading iOS7 just before I went out last night, got home and it came up with the download error. I went to download it again, but it said it HAD downloaded and would only let me install.

What's the deal? Have I got some broken version of iOS on my iPad now? Everything seems to work *shrug*.

A friend at work had this on their phone. Just go back to the settings and click upgrade or install. If it's already downloaded it should proceed with the upgrade.

Rather than saying their server is overwhelmed, Apple kept sending me various error messages, You Don't Have Permission messages, etc. I was finally able to get everything downloaded, so just keep trying. When I upgraded to Jellybean 4.2 on my Samsung tablet, I was getting a Server Busy message for over a day, but at least they didn't make me feel like it was my fault. That's the only good thing I can say about the Samsung tablet experience. :D
