it's only a jailbreak and I think the only the difference is not having to connect to computer if phone gets shut down with no power, no biggie. I'm still waiting on an Unlock for 4.1 (2.10.04 bb)!

im in the same boat as you. im not updating to anything without an unlock. until then, im good at 4.1. its just aggravating to see people beg abt it
