I had a dream of iPhone release date...

Yup, I had a dream last night of the iPhone release date....It's so simple.....

Apple will announce/release the new iPhone on

11:11 11/11/11 (2011) GMT

What a beauty of a time and date to announce/release a new product!?!?

The number eleven is the sixth prime number. Most predictions and opinions concerning 11/11/11 are based on or rooted in its mathematical uniqueness as a number. Because it's an unusual date number sequence could mean that something extraordinary will happen. If Apple chooses to do it on this date, it will be a coincidence in a unique time and it will go down in history.

T-minus twenty one days and counting. :)

You're either onto something or on something.

its still only Sept dingelfritz. 21 days would be October, otherwise known as the 10th month!

For all our sanity's sake, it better not be that long that it won't launch til November!

I hate your theory.

Purely because it means I have to wait longer than the other rumours have said I have to wait for the 5 :-(

Otherwise, interesting numbers! Wonder what I'll be doing at 11.11.... Oh, that's right, I'll be at work. Sigh.

I know, I hate to wait that long too....

But I was just thinking of how unique the date was...

And you know how Apple likes to be unique, right?

Oops sorry, my bad. I was getting ahead of myself.

Still though, announce soon but released on 11/11/11 :)

Yep, it is a unique date (and time) alright. But I doubt they'll wait that long to release the iP5.

Having said that, nobody thought they'd go past June without announcing a new phone...

Anyway, right now, I'm not fussed when it comes out. I just want to hear something from Apple to say 'it'll be announced/released on x date'. At least that way, I have a definite date to look forward to rather than numerous guesses.

That would be Apple's call....

11/11/11 is up for grabs still (by ANY manufacturer/company) regardless of past history.

I'm with you on that. A definite date would be definitely nice.

Right now though, I'm worried that Samsung might have a block on IP5 release based on patent issues. We may see a long delay if so. :(
 
I hope you're wrong, i have to buy Skyrim on 11/11/11 and if you add an iPhone 5 to that i may have to hold off on buying the woman a birthday present for financial purposes. She would not be happy.

I really doubt that theory. Firstly its based on a dream you had and secondly theres nothing particularly special about 11/11/11. O waw the numbers are the same. I will be shocked beyond belief if this is true

Sorry to hear brotha' :(

Same thing happened to my brother.

Hurt like hell at the time but I can tell ya he's with the girl of his dreams now (no more arguments/fighting) and both him an his ex are much happier and still friends.

My condolences mate. Hope you feel better soon :)
