I have a 16GB M1 Air that is still on Monterey, is it safe to jump straight to Sequoia?

From reading posts, sounds like it will run it just fine. Is it safe to just take the auto-update from the software update panel ?
No issue jumping 3 major releases in one sha-bang?

Have any important files backed up but you should be fine to update. Runs like butter post update on mine with 8gb.
